A220, no new layoffs at Mirabel

The following are details from Airbus Canada regarding workforce adjustments at the Mirabel A220 plant; the media relations officer, Ms. Annabelle Duchesne, mentions that the adjustments have already been made. Remember that on May first, Airbus Canada announced 350 temporary layoffs among union members. Of this number, approximately 125 have returned to work. This leaves approximately 225 people who will not return to work.

The 225 layoffs of union members at Mirabel are included in the 1,300 announced worldwide. Therefore, Airbus will not make new announcement of job reduction on the A220 assembly line.
