The completion of Air Transat’s first A321LR is progressing
The completion of Air Transat’s first A2321LR continues to progress as we share the latest pictures taken by spotter Tobias Gudat.
Notice the black paint around the windshield that mimics that of the A350, it seems that almost all A321LR have this distinctive touch. The installation of the PW1100JM-G engines is complete, which suggests that the first compliance flight is coming soon and that delivery should be somewhere in May.While its competitors are dealing with the MAX8 problem, Air Transat will be able to put in service the A321LR on transatlantic route as soon as June giving her a strategic advantage for the summer of 2019.
