Bombardier places three used Q400s in Ghana
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced this morning that it has placed three used Q400s in Ghana with PassionAir.
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft is expected to see more of such announcements as the company is now paying much more attention to the used aircraft fleet than before and is attempting to reposition them quickly when they become available. In this way it ensures that the inventory of parked aircraft remains low in order to protect the resale value. A small inventory of parked aircraft also helps protect the value of new aircraft.
According to the data we have, of the 399 Q400s that are less than 10 years old, there are only 10 parked aircraft at this time.
